My publishing started in 2012 with the release of The Spice of Life, my father's autobiography. This was followed by five more titles under the Scribbled Lines Publishing imprint. Initially using the services of CreateSpace, after a brief association with Blurb, I now publish through Ingram Spark.

I let the Scribbled Lines Publishing name registration lapse in 2019 and now publish under my own name. While concentrating on my own works, I also publish titles by family and close friends. My field of interest is philately (stamp collecting), evidenced by my Australian Commemorative Postmarks and The Postage Stamps of Aden books.

 

At the non-professional level, from 1987 till 1990 I was the editor and main contributor of Le Lion Rampant, the monthly magazine of the Peugeot Car Club of Tasmania. From time to time, I have had articles published in philatelic magazines in Australia and overseas. My goal for 2024 was to (finally) finish writing my novel, Dragonfly Illusion. At 97,000 words it is complete and professionally edited. Literary agents and publishers in Australia, the UK, and USA are not, I hope, assessing that manuscript sympathetically.
