Have you ever seen a fish with hands? Beneath the seaweed, hiding amongst the sand lives a strange little critter called a handfish.

This is its story, in words and illustrations aimed at the seven to 10-year-old market.

Katherine Richardson is a Tasmanian author, illustrator and animal lover. As a child, she dreamed of being a veterinarian or a marine biologist but sadly science was not her best subject. Instead, she now pursues her passions through words and pictures. Diary of a Red Handfish is her first children's book.
