Dragonfly Illusion / Retribution

After submitting Dragonfly Illusion to about 80 literary agents, I've noticed that the flurry of immediate rejections (about 20) has tapered off. The optimist in me hopes that the remaining agents might be contemplating whether they're holding one of the great techno-thriller novels. Perhaps.
Meanwhile, Dragonfly Retribution is beginning to take shape. Despite not yet having a fully fleshed-out plot, I've managed to draft 13,000 words, and, once again, the optimist in me thinks they're rather promising. As someone pointed out (thanks, Graham), I might complete the sequel before the first book gets published. Should that happen, it would certainly be a bonus for the agent or publisher. Imagine their delight when I can hand over a second manuscript at a moment's notice. We'll see.
